Suncatcher — a golden dog in a ring of flowers

The dog looks straight out, its face pieced from many cuts of grained cream and pale orange glass, each lead line following a fold of fur. Two orange ears hang down either side, the nose is one large piece of black glass, and the two black eyes each carry a white dot. Behind the neck are two patches of dark brown glass, and under the chin a whole ring of five-petalled flowers — red, pink, yellow, orange, amber brown — set among green leaves. Two people at the atelier made this piece together.
