The crescent moon is pieced from milky white glass alternating with navy, its lower tip a piece of deep purple. It rests on a cloud of mossy green glass with a rippled texture, the edge of the cloud rounding out cluster by cluster. From the upper tip of the moon, a short chain lets down a five-pointed star of clear glass as a charm. The cloud holds the back of the moon, so the joint between the two shapes is what keeps the piece together.
