Materials

The flowering branch takes up nearly half the piece, and it is cut into smaller pieces than the bird is, so the lower half reads as a scatter of leaves and the upper half as one clear shape. The orange in the blossom is opaque glass, the blue in the wing is clear. Two different glasses, living in one piece.
