The alpaca stands side-on: white head, grey-green muzzle, brown ears. The neck is a band of orange, and the body is pieced from squarish cuts — turquoise, pale green, grained yellow — like a patchwork blanket thrown over its back. The cuts are almost all straight, a piece within reach of someone sitting down at the bench for the first time.
