An upright panel, rounded at both ends. The Virgin Mary stands at its centre, her face a single piece of pale yellow glass with nothing painted on it, an orange halo behind her head and, beyond it, two arcs of saffron yellow embracing the upper half. A cloak of grained turquoise falls from her head to her feet, darkening to deep blue along its left edge; the robe beneath runs straight down in coral pink, the two sleeves are pale violet, and the hands joined at her breast are one pale piece. The ground below is pale pinkish-lilac grained glass. The lead lines along the folds of the robe are long and evenly curved, so the panel has to be drawn in full on paper before a single piece is cut.
