A sea turtle swims to the right, seen side on. Its shell is bands of black and milky white glass laid in turn, curving with the dome of the shell, and between them sit a few pieces of clear grained green, one of them flecked with yellow. The head is grained turquoise with a patch of dark green on top. The front flippers are grained green glass and the back flipper rippled dark blue. Every lead line on the shell both divides the colours and draws the scutes.
