The heart of the sun is a round piece of smooth orange glass. Around it are eight pointed rays, alternating pale yellow glass and orange glass with a rippled texture, so the ring of rays goes light and dark in turn when the sun shines through. From the lowest ray, a chain lets down a clear stone. Nine pieces, the tips pointed but short, finished within one short session.
